I have seen the kleptomaniac and
sinister face of the powerful master
fight the virtual battle
without weapons, without heroes
I have seen the followers of the master
destroying dreams, utopias
middle class, first world
agreements, schedules, credits, salaries.
I have seen crying and pain
loneliness stirring containers
Hunger, suicidal dramas, grief and fear
futures, unused, broken.
I've seen the streets full of people
expelled from the seventh heaven
incredulous, stunned,
wondering: What happened?
I have seen how they have drowned the law
commissions, CO2, cement,
delinquents, servile governments, brokers,
corrupts, assassins, blacklegs ... troikas
I have seen the henchmen of the master
hitting, imprisoning, violating
I have seen the lambs embrace the wolves
and their barbarous ceremonies.
I've seen obscene dances
the clean ones of Marx and those of Hitler
making a hundred and fifty one detours
while Europe sleeps
And hatching nightmares
that anesthetize brains
so they do not see the virtual battle,
without weapons, without heroes.
I have seen the kleptomaniac and
sinister face of the powerful master
fight the virtual battle
without weapons, without heroes.
A song by Miquel Gil inspired in the painting “Quatrecrits” of AntoniMiró
